Dr. Tara Nolan holds a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters in Professional Clinical Counseling, both awarded by Bastyr University, San Diego. Additional endeavours include Epigenetics, Nutraceuticals, and Proteomics research in Veterans with PTSD, all within the Boston Veteran Affairs Administration, Boston University, and Oxford University. She completed her 1,000 hour practicum in Community Mental Health working with a diverse population of children, adults, and adolescents experiencing trauma, displacement, or immigration-related stressors. Her current practice includes an integrative approach commonly utilizing Psychodynamic Theory, Humanistic and Holistic Approach, Existentialism, and Narrative Therapy. Returning back to home just north of Boston, she enjoys spending free time with family, keeping up to date on botanicals and plants, or in a museum. Dr. Nolan is under the supervision of Dr. Laura Russell to complete her residency in mental health counseling.
