Dr. Hill is currently under the supervision of Dr. Laura Russell to complete her postdoctoral residency in clinical psychology. For her therapy clients, Dr. Hill utilizes a whole-systems approach by building on previous career experience in emergency medicine. During her time in EMS, Dr. Hill found that she had an affinity for empowering her patients, even during times of active and profound stress. Dr. Hill now works with her psychotherapy clients to continue this process of empowerment using psychoeducation with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Logotherapy.

Therapeutic areas of focus for Dr. Hill include religious trauma, insomnia, weight loss, management of symptoms from menopause and aging, as well as interpersonal struggles, such as dating and marriage. Dr. Hill has extensive experience in working with individuals who have high stress occupations, such as members of the military, law enforcement, and other public safety positions. Therapy with Dr. Hill is a collaborative process, with consideration given to the construction of healthy and sustainable lifestyle habits, while also working on cognitive processes. Additionally, Dr. Hill is proficient in personality assessment, diagnosis of learning disabilities, and assessment of intellectual functioning.

In her spare time, Dr. Hill and her family enjoy nearly all activities outdoors. Dr. Hill is an advanced open water scuba diver, loves horseback riding, camping, and hiking. Dr. Hill and her family enjoy an off-grid lifestyle with their 3 dogs, chickens, ducks and an ever-growing number of cats. Dr. Hill is also an avid gardener and cook, and enjoys utilizing self-reliant, old-world methods, from foraging to fermentation in food preparation.
